sb: Oh wow Mistress Athena thank You VERY much for this exclusive interview for dickie virgin. Please tell us a little about Your background. Where are You originally from?

MA: I am a Texas Girl, born and raised. I grew up in a small, religious north Texas town. From birth until graduation, I was confined to the inescapable madness that comes from being smothered in small town mentality. My mother found Jesus when I was young, and My brother and I soon found ourselves fidgeting in a pew three times a week minimum, with revivals in the spring and church camp and mission trips in the summers.

I was an honors student in high school, and lettered in both Theatre and Volleyball. I was liked by most everybody, although I never really liked most of My peers. I always knew that I was better than those narrow minded inferiors and despised them for their bland and conforming sense of style.

After graduation, I left My hometown for a small college town an hour away, where I studied Visual Arts and Classical Literature for the next few years. I also spent a few years pursuing independent research for My studies in the School of Life before shedding My youthful ways and settling in Dallas. I have been here for about six years now.

sb: How Were You introduced to The Scene?

MA: I first became aware of the concept of S&M through the wonderfully dark music of Depeche Mode. I first heard ‘Master & Servant’ and ‘Strangelove’ when I was fifteen, and I was immediately intrigued. Something clicked when I heard them, and suddenly everything made sense.

I got a huge rush from the songs, envisioning Myself with a whip and My various crushes on their knees, wincing in pain and begging for more. I also thought of Myself in some sort of revealing leather straps, with a collar and leash, ecstatic from the pain. I never really imagined anyone on the other end of the leash, though, I just thought of the pleasure in pain.

Then one day during My freshman year at college, I was visiting My brother and found a bag that contained a collar, flogger, bullwhip, and another small item or two. He had borrowed them from a lesbian friend to play a joke on his very small Midwestern town girlfriend, so I quickly devised a plan and borrowed them to “play the same joke” on My boyfriend. Later that same year I read the Claiming of Sleeping Beauty series and things started going from there.

sb: Where did You start Professionally?

MA: I got My professional education at the rook, under the skilled guidance of Lady Malice, Mistress Natasha, and Mistress Olivia. I was nervous when I first started out, because I had only a few ideas of what I thought a Mistress was supposed to be and how I was supposed to act.

I assisted the other Mistresses for My first few sessions and caught on very quickly. Nothing intimidated Me, and My natural flogging abilities and willingness to inflict severe pain surprised Them.

sb: This might seem like a dumb question because You look so forceful and authoritative to me, but were You ever submissive?

MA: I used to enjoy a good switch or sub session from time to time at the rook, but I was never really too submissive. I mouthed off, made threats and dares, escaped bound captivity, hid, stuck My tongue out, and defied authority whenever possible.

I liked to have fun, so I made lots of noise and wiggled and squirmed and screamed whenever My pretty little derriere got it’s due. sb: Please tell me the most intense scene You ever did?

MA: I suppose one of the most intense scenes I've ever done was a Medical scenario with a client named pincushion john. Pincushion john would bring an assortment of straight pins to be inserted straight into his buttocks, thighs, abdominals, pectorals, and biceps.

One day I convinced him to let Me pierce his nipples. Now, straight pins are very dull and bend easily, and I had no lubrication to offer. I soon found out that the skin on his nipples was much more resistant to perforation than the skin of his body. sb: OUCH!! Can You tell me the most humiliating thing You ever did to a slave?

MA: I once had a personal slave who had been a friend before a servant. Because he was a friend, and young and physically attractive, I often required that he present himself for the amusement of Myself and the other Mistresses. In addition to suffering Our abuses, he would clean and perform handiwork for Us.

One day while away from the dungeon he forgot his position and said some things that he shouldn't have, things that were very insulting to Mistresses in general. I called him into the dungeon a few days later. he was immediately placed in very high heels and swiftly caned for his insinuations, then given a list of chores.

When he was done cleaning, he was sent to the dungeon where he was silently bound and suspended. Another Mistress explained that he had angered Me so severely that I could not discipline him, so he was to be left for a Mistress-in-training who needed practice. When slave #2 was finished cleaning, We placed a hood on the bad slave and tied him underneath a glass table so that he was looking up through it. sb: Yes i guess so! How about public humiliation. Do You get into that?

MA: I do enjoy public humiliation, but few slaves are brave enough to actually go through with the sessions. I have checked diapers in department stores, beaten up a slave in a mall parking lot, and waited in the car while a very embarrassed slave in suntan pantyhose and whore-red lipstick got directions. There are so many degrees of public play.

sb: How about crossdressers? Do You enjoy these type of scenes?

MA: I am currently seeing My clients in a domestic dungeon setting. After years of suffering through some penny-pinching man’s idea of a dungeon, I am overjoyed to have complete and total control over My domain.

Although it continues to be a work in progress, it has come together beautifully. The style is very elegant and eclectic, with black leather curtains covering the windows and a brand new, gorgeous Amethyst Italian rug accenting the hardwood floor. There is a custom built St Andrews cross, a leather bondage table, a suspension area, a spanking bench that doubles as a pedestal, and an extravagant red velvet high heeled shoe chair for Me to rest on.

The crown jewel of My collection is an ornate, custom forged wrought iron cage. It was a true labour of love from My most cherished devotee. An oversized decorative mirror allows My victims to watch their demise as it unfolds, and My erotic photographs of beautiful slavegirls adorn the walls. For action photos, I usually bring in another Mistress or a slavegirl to handle the documentation. Special slaves who prove themselves may get to be used in photo sessions with My professional photographers.

sb: Very cool! What kind of slaves do You like the most and least?

MA: I like pretty little girl slaves. The female body is so beautiful, especially when the soft curves are enhanced by ropes and restraints, and the firm, round behind is tender and red. Then there’s the supple breasts, and perky nipples. I like pretty girl slaves.

I really like slaves who take care of themselves physically, because that is basic personal discipline. sb: But you are much more than a professional and lifestyle Domina, perhaps you could share one or two of your other interests?

MA: I ride motorcycles and shoot guns. I love the power of both. I’m not very experienced with firearms, so I am very cautious and nervous when handling them. I prefer large guns with lots of kick. Pea shooters are a waste of time.

My motorcycle is a beautiful red Nighthawk 750, and I love it. It is monstrously huge, and learning to ride on that bike was no easy task. I want to get a dirtbike as well, so that I can take it camping and go off road and jump and have fun.

I enjoy adventure and nature and physical challenges. I am also an accomplished photographer, and have sold photos of bands to record labels for albums and cds. Most recently is the cover of the new Supersuckers album. I also display My erotic art in local galleries and fetish balls.

sb: Wow You are not only beautiful but talented also! Do You have any videos for sale?

MA: I have some video projects in the works, and plan to have videos for sale by the end of the year. Until then, all of My videos are posted in the Video Gallery of My website.

sb: What are Your favourite types of gifts?

MA: Thoughtful and unique gifts. I love shoes and boots and fetish wear, and can never have enough. I love getting new toys for My dungeon. I like gifts that are hard to come by.

sb: Do You play in Your personal life?

MA: I do not play as much in My personal life as I did before I worked professionally. I don’t have as much of a need to fulfil that part of My being since most of My day is spent with slaves. When I’m not with a slave, I’m on the computer answering emails from slaves or updating My site or thinking of things I want in My dungeon.

S&M consumes a large majority of My time and thought, even in the most innocent of places. At the end of a long day of beating naughty slaves I just want to relax and get My dinner served and feet rubbed.

sb: What is a really kinky scene that You haven't done yet that You would like to do with a slave?

MA: I have a slave who is desperate for Me to auction off his virgin mouth. I often get requests for other male submissive's to join the session, but he has not yet proven himself worthy of such a treat. Only the most dedicated slave may play with others.

sb: Do You also work with Women and couples?

MA: I love female slaves, and I enjoy working with couples no matter which of them is dominant. I have done sessions with couples where both were submissive, and those are lots of fun.

sb: i know You have travelled extensively. What places have You found the most appealing?

MA: I recently spent two weeks sailing around the British Virgin Islands, and it was the vacation of a lifetime. The weather was perfect, the islands were gorgeous, sailing on the open ocean was amazing. Most nights our group fought each other for sleeping space on the trampoline of our catamaran.

Sleeping under a star filled sky with nothing but a net between you and the ocean - now that was living. I got to scuba dive, and I was instantly hooked. My second dive I went down to 80 feet. I love being in the ocean. I could live in the ocean. There is such a feeling of freedom and escape.

I love to swim in nothing but a tiny little landing strip of a bathing suit, and have even made a few dives like that. I’m an exhibitionist at heart, and love tropical vacations because I don’t have to wear much. Topless beaches are the best.

While snorkelling in Jamaica, I dove down and touched the cannon from a ship that sank in the 1800’s. In the Virgin Islands, I swam through the hull of another. It was creepy and scary and a real thrill. There was a big octopus watching from a separated section of the ship, and that really gave Me the heebie-jeebies. Not enough that we didn't chase him for a minute, though.

I love Colorado, I love being in the mountains. I’m an excellent skier and I’m pretty good at snowboarding, too, and Colorado summers are perfect for camping, hiking, and dirt biking. I am planning trips to New York and Europe as soon as possible, and am very excited about the working vacations.

I plan on visiting India, Greece (Athens, of course!), and Japan in the next few years. I would also like to visit Guatemala and Peru and hike up the mountains to the temple ruins. I love adventure and nature and ancient cultures.

sb: Do You plan to offer a member's section on Your website?

MA: I do have a Member’s Section of My website, and it grows bigger every day. Currently, there are over 600 photos, there are stories written by My slaves, and there are interviews with yours Truly. There is also a Video Gallery that features hours of live footage from actual sessions. The Member’s Section is updated regularly, and as it continues to grow I will expand it’s offerings to include more cake for My servants.

sb: You are without a doubt drop dead gorgeous. Have You ever modelled professionally?

MA: I model for a few photographers, although I am very picky about who I will work with. I grew up in front of the camera, and as a Leo I can never have enough pictures of Myself. I posed for a lot of friends in college - everything from funky fashion to obscure art to classic figure. I’m in more than a few portfolios.

I have modelled for a private group of artists in Dallas, and paintings and sketches of My figure and face have hung in a few local museums and galleries. I have also been known to grace the cover of a tattoo magazine every now and then.

I have also done some runway modelling for various fashion shows or fetish balls or charity events over the years, and always enjoy a good strut down the catwalk. From time to time I ‘work’ as a background extra in television.

In an episode of ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’ I played a tattooed degenerate and got to chase an 8 year old kid out of My park (he was steppin’ on My turf!). That was pretty funny. sb: AWESOME! Do You have any pet peeves You would like to expound upon?

MA: From time to time, there is the request for inappropriate and illegal activity. This comes with the territory, unfortunately. Every once in a while one of these inquisitors will try to shame Me for not engaging in sexual activity with them, saying that I am not sincere and am only interested in money.
