sb: Thank You VERY much for this exclusive interview Lady Elizabeth. i know how busy You are at Passive Arts. Please tell us a little about Your background. Where are You originally from?
LE: I was born and raised in New Jersey. I am Italian and very proud of my heritage. I have a degree in nursing and am now retired from the profession. I ran an adult newspaper publication called the L.A.Free Press after I left nursing where a lot of scene people advertised. It was here that my keen interest in the scene came into being.
sb: Oh yes i know that publication! How Were You introduced to The Scene?
LE: I met Lady Laura while at the Free Press and we became friends. It was through her that my true introduction began. She was a very dear friend and now that she is gone I miss her very much.
sb: Yes She certainly was a wonderful person and an inspiration to us all. Where did You start Professionally?
LE: I started at Lady Laura's Dominion.
sb: Did You train under someone?
LE: Yes, two very incredible dominants who were kind enough to take me under their wing and share all their secrets with me. It was a journey I was eager to make.
sb: Please describe Your style of Domination?
LE: For Me it's Very Heavy Corporal.
sb: What is Your favorite type of scene?
LE: Interrogation with Crime and Punishment coming in a close second. Since I am the Lady of the House it isn't unusual to find me making appearances in certain sessions. It's one of the perks I reserve for myself. I have a favorite rubber cane which I affectionately call "Dastardly" and if it is a heavy corporal session I will come in and participate for a period of time. "Dastardly" leaves quite an impression. But I also will join in on CBT, NT, whipping, flogging and regular caning as long as it's a heavy session.
sb: Passive Arts is one of the most respected Houses Of Domination in the world. Please tell me a little about it's history?
LE: Originally PAS opened in 1974. It was a little 2 room dungeon in the Sunset and Gower area of Hollywood. It closed in the late 70's. But the gentleman who owned it incorporated and kept the name in case he wanted to reopen at a later time. He and I are very good friends and he wanted me to have the name if I ever opened my own club. The opportunity came in June of 2000. I wanted a club that would reflect the Elizabethan era. I have accomplished this and I'm very proud of PAS. There's over 7000 sq. ft. of spacious dungeons and theme rooms that include a large party area, elegant decor and custom built equipment.
sb: Yes it really is an awesome place! How many Mistresses are currently working there?
LE: At the present time I have 16 Mistresses at PAS. To describe each one and all their specialties would take quite some time. I think it would suffice to say that they are all serious lifestyle players who love and enjoy all aspects of BDSM. The best thing to do is to check out the website for detailed descriptions of what they specialize in and their photos. After all bruce, as they say one picture is worth a thousand words.
sb: Oh yes i totally agree Lady Elizabeth! i know You have very high standards for hiring Mistresses at Your establishment. What are a few of them?
LE: Experience and lifestyle are the key words for me. They must have references I can check out, no drugs and most important their skills are tested while I or one of my senior Mistresses observe. They must also be level headed, intelligent and have a safe and consensual approach to the scene.
sb: Please tell me a few memorable scenes that have occurred at Passive Arts?
LE: There are so many bruce, the pony races, strip contests, public floggings, public pillories to name a few. But I think the most memorable moments have come from our parties. The shows, the audience participation and demonstrations have all been quite memorable. These parties are a lot of hard work to put together and to see so many people enjoying what BDSM has to offer is a great feeling. To see them return to PAS for sessions is the icing on the cake.
sb: Yes Your parties are legendary! How about public humiliation. Do You get into that?
LE: Sometimes, when I do it's usually because I'm making a cameo appearance in one of my Mistresses sessions.
sb: How about crossdressers? Do You enjoy these type of scenes?
LE: Absolutely, the Mae West room is dedicated to the little darlings. It's where complete transformations take place.
sb: Do You enjoy foot worship?
LE: Oh yes, but my foot slaves better have strong hands and an extensive knowledge of reflexology. It's the only way to go for me.
sb: Do You prefer taunting Your slaves in boots or open toe shoes?
LE: Both. Also bare feet seem to work well for a lot of foot slaves.
sb: Yes they do and may i add Your feet are really lovely Lady Elizabeth. :)
sb: Running PAS must really take up a lot of Your time. How do You also find time to do scenes with slaves?
LE: I don't see many slaves anymore because running PAS takes up a lot of my time. But the slaves I do see must book me in advance so I can set time aside. But making appearances in the sessions of my choice help keep my skills sharp and gives me on going satisfaction.
sb: Are there other Mistresses in the Scene that You admire?
LE: Absolutely and several of them have been interviewed by you, bruce.
sb: Thank You very much for the compliment! Do You have any personal slaves?
LE: Yes, two.
sb: Can a slave who scenes with You also be photographed if he wishes?
LE: Of course, but he must earn the privilege. I'm big on privileges being earned. It makes for very well behaved slaves.
sb: What kind of slaves do You like the most and least?
LE: I love slaves who are loyal, devoted, obedient and respectful. I hate slaves who try to top from the bottom. But then again, bruce most Mistresses do. It's a pet peeve we all have.
sb: i certainly understand. What is Your favorite type of clothing?
LE: My taste varies depending on the mood I'm in and the scene I'm doing. But I always wear leather and/or satin.
sb: What is the greatest thrill You get from Domination?
LE: To have a slave at my mercy, to do my bidding, being able to bend his will to my own by taking away his identity and giving him one of my choosing. Nothing in my life has taken me to this place of total empowerment the way BDSM has. So I would have to say bruce, that it's my source of power and that's the biggest thrill of all for me.
sb: Do you session with novices?
LE: Not anymore.
sb: What is one of your favorite positions to have a sub in?
LE: Between two whipping posts with arms and legs spread and secured, where every part of their body is exposed for MY pleasure.
sb: Yes that is a very vulnerable position. :) What is your favorite drink?
LE: Mimosas
sb: Could You share one or two of your other interests with our readers?
LE: In my down time I read a lot, love to watch old movies and listen to music but only from the 60's 70's and 80's.
sb: Yes i love that music also! Do You have any videos for sale?
LE: Yes, but the tapes are customized for clients who want special fantasies. Next year I hope to launch a fetish video division of PAS.

LE: Not anymore.
sb: Describe some special tools or devices in Your dungeon?
LE: Suspended rolling cage, suspension swing, a double wench suspended sling with double suspension, a regulation jail cell, strait jackets, heavy electrical equipment, sulkies for the ponies and a specially designed bondage lacing chair to name a few.
